Head of PSP

Job Overview

We are supporting a fast-growing multi-asset CFD broker to recruit a Head of PSP to join their team in Limassol.

This role focuses on defining and executing PSP strategy, managing payment providers, and optimizing payment performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading PSP relationships, improving processes, and ensuring smooth integrations and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall PSP strategy aligned with business goals
• Identify new PSPs, markets, and payment opportunities
• Set and monitor PSP performance KPIs (approval rates, costs, uptime, success rates)
• Lead, mentor, and manage the PSP team
• Manage relationships with PSPs at a senior level
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and SLAs
• Represent the business at PSP events, expos, and conferences
• Optimize PSP portfolio to improve performance and reduce risk
• Oversee the onboarding lifecycle of new PSPs from start to go-live
• Ensure KYC, compliance, due diligence, and contracts are completed
• Coordinate with Tech teams for integrations
• Ensure proper testing, issue resolution, and launch readiness
• Act as escalation point for PSP-related issues
• Align internal teams (Tech, Product, Compliance, Finance, Risk)
• Improve processes, automation, and scalability
• Monitor payment trends, regulations, and technologies
• Identify innovation opportunities and new solutions
• Provide insights to improve payment performance and strategy

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of payment methods, acquiring, and PSP ecosystems
• Experience managing PSP relationships and negotiations
• Understanding of payment flows, integrations, and systems
• Strong analytical mindset
• Knowledge of KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives
• Fluency in English
• Experience in Forex, iGaming, Crypto, or fintech
• Good to have
• Experience representing the business at PSP events, expos, and conferences
• Experience improving processes, automation, and scalability
