Job Overview

We are helping an established international tax advisory and corporate services firm expand their finance team in Nicosia. The role focuses on preparing Group accounting records, management accounts, and reports, handling tax and VAT statutory filings, and monitoring internal controls and financial forecasts. This is an office-based role with opportunities to oversee team members and collaborate with senior management on strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Group accounting records and management accounts.
• Handle tax and VAT statutory filings.
• Monitor internal controls and financial forecasts.
• Oversee accounting staff and team operations.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic financial projects.
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus tax and VAT legislation.
• Process payroll and statutory compliance tasks.
• Support organizational growth through financial oversight and reporting.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, AIA, LCCI) is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Cyprus tax and VAT legislation.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience managing accounting staff.

Good to Have

• Previous experience in group accounting and strategic financial planning.
• Exposure to international tax advisory or corporate services.
