We are supporting a software development and technology consulting company looking to recruit a Back-End Developer to join their growing team.

The role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable back-end applications and services that support custom software solutions for clients across various industries. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable back-end applications and services
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software development best practices
• Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations
• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and development activities
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimisation
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining development standards
• Investigate and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Document technical solutions and development processes
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and development trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in back-end development
• Experience with back-end development technologies and frameworks (C#, .NET)
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs
• Understanding of databases, software architecture, and system design principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively
