MELATHRON AGONISTON TIS EOKA is the largest Private Rehabilitation Center in Cyprus with more than 25 years of experience and contribution, offering differing lev-els of health care and is one of the Cyprus premiere leaders in rehabilitation of the nervous, musculoskeletal and vascular system and provides high quality, innovative and compassionate care to patients. Rehabilitation is offered to patients who have suf-fered Cardiovascular Accidents (Stroke), Traumatic Brain Injury, Brain Tumors, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome, Parkinson’s disease and other acquired neurolog-ical diseases.
It has also a Medical Center that consists of Outpatients departments of Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Psy-chologist), Pathology, Cardiology, X-ray, Clinical Laboratory and Nephrology. All ser-vices are also provided through General Healthcare System (GESY).
MELATHRON AGONISTON TIS EOKA, additionally has a repute Elderly Home with a compassionate, fully-trained caregivers who provide personal care and support ser-vices at any time of day or night. It offers residents a safe, comfortable and supportive environment in which they can enjoy living a quality of lifestyle in a pleasant and se-renity location. It also provides entertainment and cognitive programs, gymnastics and group therapy to the elderly (permanent residents). Residents receive daily medical care and get involved in daily activities such as: excursions, gymnastics, occupational therapy, music therapy, crafts and other creative tasks under the guidance with the vo-cational training centres of the Ministry of Educations. Specifically Elderly Home accommodates 45 residents and it welcomes anyone who has participated in war battles for the freedom of Cyprus.
