About Us
We are delighted to introduce a new not-for-profit International School in Paphos, Cyprus – Lumio Private School.
Lumio will open its doors in September 2024 for grades 1 to 9. The application process starts in February 2024.
Our stunning 6,8 hectares site in Acheleia, near Paphos is currently undergoing a major renovation and will feature modern classrooms, well-equipped science and IT labs, as well as dedicated spaces for the arts, sports, and an array of extracurricular activities. The school is easily accessible from major motorways.
Over the last six months our team has been working closely with the Ministry of Education of Cyprus to obtain the school’s license. A significant number of our education programs have already been approved, and we are on track to be fully licensed by September 2024.
In the meantime we are assembling an international team of experienced educators who share our vision for a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Lumio’s language of instruction is English, however we endeavour to cater to children from different linguistic backgrounds.
We intend to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to meet the highest educational standards, ensuring your child receives a well-rounded and globally competitive education. We have already entered the candidacy phase as part of the IB licensing process.
