About Us
Lanitio High School is Limassol’s oldest school and has played an important role in the national and spiritual life of the place.
The school was founded in 1819, when a group of prominent residents of Limassol with a special love for Greek education founded in Limassol, with their own contribution, the first one-year Greek School or School, housed in a three-room house – one of which served as a library – located in the enclosure of the church of Ayia Napa.
an important event for Limassol educational events, the unification of Lanitios Lyceum I with Lanitius Lyceum II into a single high school and the transfer of Lanisios High School to the Lanisios Secondary School building. Lanitio High School II and will continue its course as Lanitio High School.
