About Us
Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings) has been providing credit analysis and ratings since 1982, and currently rates over 300 banks, corporates, financial instruments (bonds & sukuk) and sovereigns based in 25 countries.
Our geographical coverage includes the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, central and south eastern Europe and the Asia / Pacific region.
CI Ratings is registered as a credit rating agency in the European Union (EU) in accordance with the EU Regulation on credit rating agencies. Our activities are supervised by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), based in France. CI Ratings is also recognised as an External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI) in the EU and in a number of jurisdictions in the Middle East, particularly in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
