About Us

The Higher Technical Institute (HTI) was founded in 1968 as a joint educational project between the Republic of Cyprus, UNESCO, UNDP and ILO. It is a bicommunal tertiary institution, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance.
The main objective of HTI is the education of high calibre technician engineers to meet the needs of industry for suitably trained personnel in middle management positions as well as the promotion of applied research.
