Job Overview

We are helping an established professional services firm expand their Audit & Assurance team in Nicosia.

This role is focused on performing audits for international and local clients, planning and executing audits in accordance with ISAs, and preparing financial statements under IFRSs while supervising junior team members. You will need to be an excellent audit professional who gets enjoyment from delivering high-quality client service and working with large and medium-sized clients across diverse business sectors.

This role involves office-based work in a professional yet friendly and supportive environment with opportunities for career development and progression.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits for international and local clients
• Plan and execute audits in accordance with ISAs
• Prepare financial statements under IFRSs
• Supervise junior team members
• Deliver high-quality client service
• Work with large and medium-sized clients across diverse business sectors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from reputable university
• Qualified or semi-qualified (ACA or ACCA)
• 2–4 years of related experience in audit department of accounting firm
• Excellent knowledge of Caseware and e-audit software
• Excellent command of Greek and English language, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, motivation, and professional discipline
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and deliver high-level results
• Hardworking and enthusiastic with career aspirations and interest in further development

Good to have

• Good knowledge of Cyprus tax framework will be considered an advantage
