Job Overview

We are assisting an established professional services firm in Cyprus with the recruitment of ACA/ACCA Trainees to join their structured professional development program.
This role is ideal for ambitious graduates who are keen to build a long-term career in audit, accounting, and advisory services while pursuing a fully sponsored ACA or ACCA professional qualification. You will work with large and medium-sized clients across a variety of business sectors, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment.
The position offers flexible working hours, a strong work–life balance, and an afternoon off every Friday throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in audit and assurance engagements for a diverse client portfolio
• Support accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services
• Participate in advisory and consulting projects
• Prepare financial data, working papers, and reports
• Collaborate with senior team members and contribute to client deliverables
• Develop technical and professional skills while studying for ACA/ACCA qualifications
• Maintain professional standards and meet deadlines
• Build effective working relationships with colleagues and clients

Requirements

• University degree in any discipline
• Expected or attained academic grade of 7.0, 3.0, or 2:1
• Strong ambition, motivation, commitment, and initiative
• Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and add value
• Business-minded approach
• Good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluency in both Greek and English

Good to Have

• Prior exposure to accounting, finance, audit, or business environments
• Internship or placement experience in a professional services firm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop professionally
